Can Drinking Wine Really Save Your Life?

You’ve all heard the saying “an apple a day keeps the doctor away”. Well what if we told you that having a glass of wine or two drastically improves your overall health?

How Exactly Is Wine Healthy?

Well, according to studies from Healthline.com the grapes that are typically used to create red wine are jam packed with sveratrol, catechin, epicatechin and proanthocyanidins. A couple of these are linked with a few life benefits that have been proven to help your health in the long run!

As stated in the article, “[Resveratrol], has been linked with many health benefits, including fighting inflammation and blood clotting, as well as reducing the risk of heart disease and cancer.”

The article also states that another antioxidant in red wine called Proanthocyanidins may reduce oxidative damage in the body. Which is science and medical speak for, curing your stress. It also helps prevent heart disease and cancer like Resveratrol.

Interesting…So, what we are hearing from this article is that the more wine you consume, there is more of a possibility that your overall health can improve.

Can Wine Be Unhealthy?

Of course the article also states that, it would be a bit irresponsible to heavily consume wine in order to improve your health. The real way to keep yourself healthy would be to eat right and have an active lifestyle…but no one ever said it was bad for us to indulge in alternative medicine every once in a while.

How ever you decide to keep yourselves healthy, we hope you do it responsibly!
